Bryan Drucker, M.D. 
Bryan Drucker was raised in southern California but has made the Bay Area his true home. He attended Stanford University for college, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Biological Sciences. 
 
During his undergraduate years he also did extensive research on new modalities of cancer treatment at the Stanford University Medical Center. He then attended the University of California at San Francisco for medical school, where he continued research interests in pediatric cardiac surgery and then subsequently returned to Stanford for his pediatric residency training at the Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital.  
 
In 1995 Dr. Drucker joined Pediatric Associates where he continues to guide families and children in their journey from infancy through adolescence and young adulthood. He has been listed for several years in San Jose Magazine as one of Silicon Valley's "top physicians."  
Some of his special pediatric interests include pediatric cardiology and infectious diseases.  
 
He is married and has two children. His outside interests include distance running, especially with his wife, Carrie Kaufmann, as well as cooking and classical music.  
 
Dr. Drucker believes in providing personalized pediatric care in the context of the Pediatric Associates team and is dedicated to being a true patient advocate in the complex modern medical environment.
Jenny Griswold, M.D.
Jenny Griswold grew up in Chicago, IL and did her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University. She attended the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University and completed her internship and residency training at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.  
 
She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  
 
After residency, she worked for 18 months as a civilian at a US Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan, practicing general pediatrics and working closely with a developmental pediatrician. Upon moving back to the US, she settled in the Bay Area and has been practicing in this community since 1998. 
 
Her special interests include developmental pediatrics, pediatric infectious diseases and dermatology.  
 Dr. Griswold lives with her husband and 3 children in Cupertino. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, swimming, biking, and golf.
Toby Hays, M.D.
Toby Hays grew up in Littleton , Colorado before heading east to college at Dartmouth. As an undergrad, he split his time between the library (studying Biochemistry/Molecular Biology) and the pool (captain of the Men's Swimming and Diving team). Dr. Hays was recently inducted into Dartmouth 's Athletic Hall of Fame for diving.  
 
After a stint in Boston doing cancer research, he returned to New Hampshire and Dartmouth Medical School, where he chose to pursue pediatrics. Dr. Hays was lured out west to California where he could do pediatric residency while continuing his outdoor hobbies (mainly tennis, triathlon, and skiing). He completed his residency at Children's Hospital in Oakland and then served as Chief Resident there for one year.  
 
Dr. Hays joined Pediatric Associates in 2009, and loves working with all children and their families!  

Jerina Kapoor, M.D.
Jerina Kapoor was born and raised in Bombay, India and was introduced early in life to medicine by her mother who was an ENT surgeon and an ex-professor of ENT at a university medical center in India.  
 
Dr. Kapoor completed medical school with honors at the prestigious Bombay University. After completing a pediatric residency she practiced in Bombay for 2 years as a pediatrician. Jerina moved to New Jersey, where she completed a second pediatric residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Children's Hospital of New Jersey. Her special interest when in New Jersey was Infectious Diseases in children.  
 
In 1992, Dr. Kapoor moved to California with her husband (a Silicon Valley Engineer). She thoroughly enjoys her practice at Pediatric Associates which includes caring for newborns and children through their teen years.
Dr. Kapoor is board-certified in Pediatrics, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. Dr. Kapoor has been listed for several years as one of "Silicon Valley's top physicians" in San Jose Magazine.  
 
Dr. Kapoor brings experience and enthusiasm into the care and education of her families.  

Her hobbies include reading, travel and music. 
Nadereh Varamini, M.D.
Nadereh Varamini is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from University of Bordeaux II in France and completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital .Dr. Varamini has been in practice since 1996.  
 
Before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2000, Dr. Varamini enjoyed a private practice in Missouri where she was also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Missouri. She also served on the Advisory Council for Genetic Services for the State of Missouri . 
 
Dr. Varamini joined Pediatric Associates in 2003. Currently she is a preceptor for Stanford University School of Medicine primary care associates program as well as for UC Davis. Dr. Varamini received the award for Volunteer Preceptor of the year in pediatrics from Stanford University School of Medicine PA program in 2011.
She has been named one of America's top pediatricians by consumer's research council of America since 2008.  
 
Dr. Varamini's interests include routine child care and development, dermatology, genetics, adolescent medicine and nutrition.  
She enjoys spending time with her 2 children, traveling, biking and painting in her free time. Dr. Varamini is fluent in French and Farsi.

Rita Zorian, M.D.
Rita Zorian received her medical degree from University of Montreal School of Medicine. While completing her pediatric residency at University of Montreal at St. Justine Hospital, she also conducted clinical research with the Department of Pediatric Neurology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board-certified in Pediatrics.  
 
After being in private practice for 6 years in New Jersey, Dr. Zorian moved to the Bay Area where she has been in private practice and on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital since 1997. She joined Pediatric Associates in 2009.  
 
Her special interests include routine pediatric care, adolescent medicine, pediatric neurology, and developmental pediatrics.

Dr. Zorian is fluent in Armenian, French and Arabic. She, her husband, and their two children are very active in the Bay Area Armenian community. She has volunteered regularly as a teacher at the local Armenian School and continues to organize cultural and educational events for middle school-aged Armenian children.  
She has been named one of America's top pediatricians by consumer's research council of America since 2008.  
 
Dr. Varamini's interests include routine child care and development, dermatology, genetics, adolescent medicine and nutrition.  
She enjoys spending time with her 2 children, traveling, biking and painting in her free time. Dr. Varamini is fluent in French and Farsi.

Carrie Kaufman, N.P. 
Carrie Kaufmann was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended the University of San Francisco and received her Bachelor of Science and R.N. degree. Several years later she graduated from the University of California, San Francisco with a Master’s of Science and received her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree.

She currently works at Pediatric Associates as well as with Allergy & Asthma Associates of Northern California. Carrie is certified as an asthma educator and has an interest in both childhood allergies and asthma.

She has two grown children she has raised with her husband, pediatrician Dr. Bryan Drucker. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, watching baseball and playing with her Labrador Emma.
